What makes cork flooring so amazing? 

• Cork is the only tree that can regenerate itself after harvesting the bark!  Once mature, harvest occurs about every 9 years, leaving the tree to continue growing and producing cork, sometimes for as long as 200 years!
• Cork is made up of tiny, 14-sided, completely enclosed air cells measuring 1/1000” in diameter!
• Cork can withstand a great deal of pressure without breaking and begins to spring back after pressure is released, retaining 90-100% of its original form depending on the amount and overall time of the pressure exerted.
• Due to the structure of its air cells, cork is an efficient thermal and acoustical insulator.
• Cork provides walking comfort with balance — not excessively hard, not overly soft
